So I'm sat watching this seasons "Celebrity Big Brother" and during an advert break I see a familiar face on an advert, to my pleasant surprise it was Jamal Edwards aka SBTV.
I'm a massive fan of building something from scratch coming up with new and creative ideas and SB shows this in the advert that shows his journey in 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Jamal is a true inspiration to the young and up and coming, SALUTE YOU BRO!!!!

Marbella for 2011

NVA - Raising the bar
In January this year we did a post on NVA Entertainment, we stated on that in 2011 NVA would have the year on lock, 7 Months later they came with a massive multi million dollar deal with Ashley Cole and Jay Z, bringing a fresh unique project, involving the 40/40 Club coming to London and providing fresh opportunities for young people.
This year I had the chance to spend some time with them and all I can say is the drive and determination to WIN is what separates them from the rest.

There are very few DJ's out there at the moment that have the talent, skill and personality to match, but there is one who's got it all!!!!!!

Chuckie has established himself as one of the leading underground urban club Dj’s in the country. Distributing over 15,000 free mix cd’s in 2010 alone creating a strong fan base and gaining the title ‘The Underground Champion’. Chuckie goes by the motto “Invest in your passion”.
Music has been in the blood from birth as his Dad was apart of a sound system in the late 70′s to the early 90′s and his mother was also a collector of music. As a little boy he stood by his dad watching him play music at Christenings and house parties instead of spending most of the night running around with other children.

Fast forward a few years, Chuckie (real name Lloyd Lothian) began building his career in the late 90′s as a Garage MC and made his name by blagging his way on stage at a popular local under 18 event. Within two years Chuckie MC’d for the biggest Dj’s and most well known MC’s in that scene, as well as being hired forunder 18′s all over london and doing pirate radio shows. While establishing his name as an MC, Chuckie collected music he really loved. R&B, HipHop and Dancehall music. Already a very popular MC, a change of direction was felt needed, so he traded in his microphone skills to start playing music. The quest began late 2005 doing a residency at Area Night Club (Watford) starting off doing 9-10pm sets to then landing prime time slots. Since then Chuckie has played all around London, Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Bournemouth, Brighton, Derby & Manchester to name a few. As well as being a warm up DJ at concerts for the likes of Jagged Edge, Joe, The Game, Lil Wayne, Donell Jones, Trey Songz, and interviewing artists such as T.I, Bow Wow, Bashy, Kano, Xzibit and Lloyd for a pirate radio show. Not forgetting promoting and organising his own club night events, attracting crowd’s up to 1500 people.
Chuckie recently celebrated his birthday by the looks of things a great night was had!!!!!! hahahahaha Badman don't drink
